Getting started
Bonk Beta is invite-only. Here’s the path from waitlist to your first library import.
1. Join the waitlist
On bonkmusic.app, scroll to the contact section and submit the waitlist form with your email. We use it to send beta invites and release notes — no spam.
2. Accept your invite
When a spot opens, you’ll get an email with a download link and sign-in instructions. Invites are tied to your email; forward them only to yourself on another device if needed.
3. Install Bonk Beta
- macOS — open the DMG and drag Bonk Beta to Applications
- Windows — run the installer from your invite email
- Linux — use the AppImage or package linked in your invite
macOS may ask you to allow the app on first launch because builds are not yet notarized for wide distribution.
4. Sign in
On first launch, accept the beta terms, then sign in with the magic link or invite flow from your email. You can continue as a guest for a limited preview, but syncing and beta feedback require an account.
5. Import your library
Start with a Rekordbox XML export or connect your existing Rekordbox library — see Rekordbox basics for step-by-step guidance.
