Common questions

Short answers for beta testers. More detail lives in the guides linked from the sidebar.

Is Bonk free?

Bonk Beta is free for invited testers during the open beta. Pricing for a general release has not been announced.

Which platforms are supported?

macOS, Windows, and Linux. macOS and Linux are the most tested today; Windows support is improving — report issues via the in-app feedback form.

Does Bonk work with Rekordbox 6 and 7?

Yes. Import via XML or connect your live library. See Rekordbox basics.

What are PathFlo and JourneyFlo?

PathFlo helps you visualize key and energy transitions and save a playable track order. JourneyFlo lets you structure a set into sections (warm-up, peak, cooldown) with export-ready timestamps.

What is Quick Tag?

A focused mode for tagging every track in a folder quickly — useful when you don’t want to load your entire Rekordbox library.

Will Bonk change my files without asking?

Bonk prompts before writing tags to audio files or exporting to Rekordbox. Always keep backups of your library before bulk edits.

Can I use Bonk without Rekordbox?

You can scan folders and use Quick Tag without Rekordbox, but the full workflow — playlists, cues, booth export — assumes Rekordbox as your DJ library.

How do I get help or report a bug?

Use the feedback option inside the app, the contact form on this site, or Discord. Include your OS version and a short description of what you expected vs. what happened.

Where is the full technical documentation?

These pages are the public beta guide. Deep developer docs ship later; this site is the right place to start for testers and support.
